Sweet Bake

A self-directed bakery brand concept created to learn Canva.

Project Overview

Sweet Bake is a self-directed bakery brand concept I created to learn how to work in Canva. This mockup project explores a soft, welcoming visual identity around the tagline, Handmade With Love. The design combines playful typography, a hand-drawn cupcake illustration, and a palette of soft pink, warm neutrals, and charcoal gray to create a cohesive and recognizable look.

Design Approach

The goal was to create a visual identity that felt friendly, inviting, and consistent across different customer touchpoints.

I designed the Sweet Bake logo and extended the identity into a café menu, takeaway cups, and branded bakery bags. The cupcake illustration serves as a recognizable brand element, while the typography and color palette help establish consistency across the materials.

The menu was designed with a clear layout and organized sections to make drink and food selections easy to navigate while maintaining the overall brand aesthetic.

Brand Applications

Logo Design: Primary and alternative logo arrangements featuring the cupcake illustration and Handmade With Love tagline.
Packaging Design: Branded paper bags and takeaway cups that carry the visual identity into everyday customer interactions.
Menu Design: A coordinated café menu featuring beverages, baked goods, and breakfast selections.
Brand Extensions: Business cards, packaging stickers, and bakery boxes developed to expand the identity across additional materials.
