If your comic book or graphic novel pages are fully illustrated, lettered, and ready for print formatting, your project may qualify for Standard Book Layout instead.
Qualifying completed comic pages start at $499. Final pricing depends on design work, page count, lettering, and artwork readiness, with a final quote after reviewing your materials. The standard $99-per-50-additional-pages pricing does not apply automatically to comics or graphic novels. Complex projects require a custom quote.

Creating your first children's book can come with a lot of questions. This package gives you the professional layout services included in Standard Book Layout, along with additional guidance to help you navigate the design process.
We'll review your manuscript and illustrations, discuss your book's format and layout needs, and work through the design process together with scheduled meetings and opportunities for feedback.
You don't have to figure out every design detail on your own. I'll help you understand the steps involved while bringing your book together into a cohesive, professionally designed interior.

Comics & Graphic Novels
Creating a comic book or graphic novel? These projects often require additional attention to panel layouts, dialogue placement, lettering, and visual storytelling.
Comic books and graphic novels are generally handled through Guided Book Layout, starting at $999. Final pricing depends on the number of pages, artwork readiness, and design requirements.
The following are areas of potential project support, not services automatically included in the $999 starting price:

I believe in keeping the design process simple and transparent. Before work begins, you'll receive a personalized quote outlining your project's scope, estimated timeline, and total cost.

Payment Schedule
A 50% deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining 50% due upon project approval and before delivery of final files.

Hourly Design Services
Hourly services are tracked and billed based on the actual time spent working on your project.
New Clients
New hourly clients are required to prepay an initial block of five hours. These hours are applied toward work completed. Additional hours may be billed weekly as agreed.
Work Updates
On days I work on your project, you'll receive a progress update that includes:
- Hours worked
- A description of the work completed
- Progress updates and available previews
- Total hours accumulated for the week
Weekly Invoicing
Invoices are sent every Friday through PayPal, with a detailed breakdown of hours worked. Payment is due within three business days.
Additional Hours
I'll keep you informed of your project's progress and discuss any additional hours before exceeding the agreed estimate or weekly limit.
Additional Services & Changes
Illustration creation, color refinement, additional artwork, and other services outside your selected package are priced separately unless specifically included in your quote.
Any work outside the original project scope will be discussed and approved before additional charges are made.
Payment Methods
All payments are securely processed through PayPal invoices. You'll receive an invoice by email with instructions for completing your payment.
Work may be paused until outstanding invoices are paid.
